X-Y Project
By 3 young (and pretty) developpers...
Ibni-Yamine, Mohamed and Alexandra : we are 3 juniors developpers currently in training @SIMPLonMARS in the ingeneering school Centrale Marseille.
When we started this project, we were at school since 2 months.. This is why it's not that perfect 🙃 but we made it with love !
We code our game based on <map></map> tag, which is used to define a client-side image-map. An image-map is an image with defined areas where you can interact with JS and CSS.
The required name attribute of the <map> element is associated with the <img>'s usemap attribute and creates a relationship between the image and the map.
The <map> element contains a number of <area> elements, that defines the areas inside the image map.
After few weeks of development we're now facing a major responsive issue.
Unfortenately, using the <map> and <area> tags forces us to have a fixed size circuit (in pixels)...
This should not bothering you if you're playing on your computer, but on mobile or tablet it may display something completely random.
The next step of our "X-Y Project" is to launch our game on Phonegap, we're currently hard working on our responsive issues to have more fun on your smartphone or tablet !
